VAIL, Colo. - March 4, 2013 - It's only been four days but so far the month of March is off to a snowy start at Vail, the largest ski resortin the United States,with five inches of fresh powder reported this morning, more than a foot since the first of the month, and nearly two feet in the last seven days.

With all the recent snowfall skiers and snowboarders can find plenty of great powder on more than 5,000 acres of open terrain at Vail.
